Booking a class

  • All classes are all levels but each class serves a specific purpose and offers varying levels of intensity. Read class descriptions to explore the different themes and intentions behind each class and see what you are drawn to.

    A primary tenent of practice is to listen to your body and follow your inner teacher and guidance system.

    Stay with your breath and pace. Modify poses to feel good in your body or take variations to meet your healthy edge. Take rest when you need it. Hydrate when you are thirsty.

  • Yes, please pre-book a reservation before you come to class.

    All students must create an account, purchase, and pre-register for classes before coming to the studio.

  • Go to the Booking Schedule on the main website menu and find the class you want to attend. Click on “Book”. The webpage will take you to your Anahata Mindbody account to complete the transaction. If you have issues, come to class early and we will walk you through the process.

  • If you need to cancel a class booking, please do so as early as you can so others can reserve the spot.

    Late cancellations made less than 1 hour before a class start time or no shows will result in a $12.00 fee for monthly membership students or a loss of a class.

    If you need to cancel a 1:1 session, please do so with 24 hrs advance notice.

Coming to Class

  • Wear comfortable clothes that you can sweat in. People like to wear breathable leggings, shorts, sports tops.

  • Please bring a yoga mat, yoga mat towel, extra towel for sweat, and bottle of water.

    If you forget to bring your mat and towel, you can rent one or purchase a mat or towel.

  • 10-15 minutes before class.

    The practice space opens 10- 15 minutes before class for students to get situated and land. Students are encouraged to come 10-15 minutes before class to have ample time to checkin at reception, store belongings at the cubby shelves, use the toilet if necessary, and get situated in the practice space.

    Take advantage of this preparatory and sacred time in the practice room by getting into a restorative posture, perform a mental-emotional-energetic-body scan, or any other centering activity that you prefer.

  • Yes, you can rent a mat and towel or buy a mat and equipment from our shop.

  • Our entrance and reception for regular yoga classes is located in the back parking lot of Anahata.

    Walk along the pink wall of the drive way and turn left to find the entrance. All students must checkin at the desk before practice.

  • We have a number of parking spots in front of the studio on Highway 9. There are also spots across the street depending on the time of day, and street parking options as well. Connect with us on getting intel on the unofficial guide to parking in Felton.

  • Unfortunately, no late arrivals are possible.

    To safe keep belongings in the studio during class, we lock the door at the reception entrance at the scheduled time.

  • Please respect the sensitivity of other students by not wearing perfumes when coming to class.

  • Please remove your shoes. No shoes inside Anahata.

While at Anahata

  • Please help keep the shared space clean and orderly.

    Please wipe the floors of any excess sweat you’ve left from your practice.

    Bring extra towels if you need.

    Please wipe down any mats or blocks that you borrow from the studio.

    Care for your practice space.

  • When you enter the practice room, please respect the quietude of the space and the intentionality of the space as a sacred retreat for yoga practice.

    Bring awareness and intentionality to your movements and presence. Try to respect this time for yourself and the meditation practice of other students.

  • Please help to keep the energetics of the practice space as clean as possible and respect sensitive community members.

    Please switch your cellphone to airplane mode or turn it off and store it in the reception area outside of the practice space in a cubby.

    Please remove any smart devices or any Light or EMF-emitting wearables before entering the practice space.

  • Please respect the sensitivity of other students by not wearing perfumes when coming to class.

  • Please keep shoes uses outdoors, outside the doors of Anahata. No shoes allowed inside the center.

  • Please be careful of our studio mirrors.

    Absolutely no handstands are allowed against the mirrors. Please don’t use the mirrors for weight-bearing of any kind.

    If you would like to practice an inversion with wall support, kindly please use the walls and avoid both the mirrors and windows completely.

    Please be as caring with the walls as you would when borrowing other studio equipment, wiping down the walls to remove traces of usage.

  • Login to your mindbody account and find all the ways to manage your class bookings and account. If you need help, come a little early to class and we will walk you through whatever you need.
