Hand and Wrist Prehab Workshop
Oct 1, 4:30 - 6:00 PM
As humans we use our hands everyday, and yet they tend to be one of the most neglected regions of the body.
Prehab is a practise that prevents injury and the need for rehab, which is often a long and mentally draining process when it comes to our hands. In this workshop you will learn release, mobility and functional exercises to bulletproof your wrists for your yoga practise, or any physical activity. As a bodyworker and acupressurist of 20+ years, I will teach you my daily routine to maintain fingers, hands and wrists. You will also learn powerful self massage techniques to address repetitive strain, which can create imbalances that lead to elbow and shoulder issues.
"Treat your body as a temple and listen to the guru who dwells there, your heart."

Evening Flow into Yin
Oct 1, 6:30 - 7:45 PM
Anahata’s signature evening flow in to yin class.
This is a guided vinyasa flow that merges with the profound practice of yin yoga. We begin with a vinyasa flow sequence and end with a set of 5 yin postures. During yin yoga, we practice focused body awareness and holding muscle engagement while breathing into greater relaxation, release, and lengthening of muscles, fascia and ligaments. Anahata’s Evening Flow to Yin offers a balanced elixir of “working it out” while offering pathways of going deeper into the depths of self and finding physical, energetic, and spiritual expansion. Not to be confused with restorative, Yin is a unique asana component to your yoga practice and is a perfect energetic for bringing home your Sunday evening self-care practice.
